I enjoyed the presentation on motivation because I think it's something we all struggle with in our classrooms. As a high school teacher, I will definitely use the blog idea with responses in a variety of genres to motivate my students. Fast Food Nation, the book featured in one of the blogs, has always been a student favorite in my classroom. Unfortunately, my writing assignments like journals and other written responses have never been popular. Now, I have this new source to use!
